The Sensepoint XCDgas detector is an instrument that is stationarily installed in the presence of flammable, explosive, or toxic gas to detect the concentration of flammable gases, toxic gases, and oxygen in the air.
XCD (Exceed) gas detector combines all the advantages of gas detection technology and is a replacement product of the widely used fixedgas detector, which is far more cost-effective than any existing similar product.
The core components of the Sensepoint XCD, such as sensors, are patented and use non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) technology to make detection more accurate and long-term stability. XCD is suitable for catalytic combustion, electrochemical and NDIR sensors in the same housing, allowing it to measure a wider range of gases and a wider range. Therefore, XCD is widely used in general industrial fields such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, and manufacturing, and also performs well in some harsh environments.
Sensepoint XCD has automatic status alerts, especially the use of a three-color backlight, which clearly shows its operating status from a distance:
• When there is no alarm and it is working properly, the backlight is green
• When a fault occurs, the backlight is yellow
• When an alarm is generated, the backlight is red
