Pac 5500 Single-gas detectors
The Dräger Pac5500 is a new single gas detection alarm for personal protection. This ceremony
The device can continuously detect the concentration of carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide or oxygen in the ambient air and report it in time
Police. Accurate measurement, compact appearance, rugged durability, simple operation, no service life limit.
Compact and rugged
Dräger Pac 5500 is ideal for personal protection for industrial users and other applications, both in terms of size and weight. The instrument is easy to operate and can be used with one hand, even with gloves, and is designed for use by personnel working in harsh environments. The exterior of the instrument has a layer of rubber that makes the instrument more robust and has an ingress protection of IP66/67, even in the presence of water. Safety is placed first The position of the sensor is specially designed to allow gas to enter from the top and front of the instrument at the same time, and the device is placed in a pocket or the air inlet is accidentally obscured without hindering continuous gas detection.
No lifetime limit
Designed for long-term operation, the Dräger Pac 5500 has no service life limit. Batteries and sensors can be easily replaced in the field without the need for any additional equipment. In addition, the water and dust filter membrane at the top of the instrument can be replaced if it is contaminated with dirt and mud.
Micro sensor technology
Equipped with the latest miniature Dräger X X S sensor technology, the Dräger Pac 5500 is tailored for personal portable inspection. Innovative sensors combine excellent performance with fast response times and are expected to last up to 5 to 8 years.
High definition display
The large LCD display is clear and bright, showing both the gas concentration and the unit of measurement. As an option, the instrument can also be set to only the gas type on the screen. The gas concentration is displayed on the screen only when the alarm level is reached. To avoid language barriers, the concentration display does not use any words. The display background light is on for easy readings in dark environments.
In addition, yellow (hydrogen sulfide) and blue (oxygen) labels ensure fast instrument identification from a distance.
Warnings and alarms
The Dräger Pac 5500 not only features an audible vibration alarm, but also provides a 360° visual alarm at the top and bottom of the instrument. The alarm limit value can be set by the user, and the gas alarm includes a pre-alarm and a main alarm.
To ensure maximum user safety, the instrument battery level alarm includes pre-alarm and main alarm. So once there is any problem with the circuit, battery or sensor of the instrument, the user can immediately receive clear default alarms and prompts. The "Life Signals" function option is also available
It can be activated or disabled at the user's request.
Functional testing and calibration
The vast majority of national codes require users to routinely test instruments with known concentrations of gases. Functional testing can check if the instrument is working properly. The Dräger Pac 5500 is configured with adjustable functional test and calibration intervals for different applications, and automatic warnings are displayed on the screen to the date of the functional test and calibration requirements. If the warning is ignored, the instrument can automatically display a "Fault Error" error message. Users can also choose to set this error message for calibration interval expiration.
The Dräger Pac5500 can be used with Dräger functional testers to complete tests quickly and easily in just 8 to 15 seconds each time. This economical device requires no power supply and can be used to inspect instruments and sensors from any location. Each successful test is automatically recorded in data memory, and failed tests prompt the instrument to "fail." Portable printer and print text results are also optional.
After turning on the machine, you can simply calibrate the fresh air. Calibration can be carried out in the workshop by connecting the instrument to the computer, with the option of automating the test and calibration system. Dräger Pac5500 recommends a 2-year inspection interval.
Data storage
The Dräger Pac 5500 can record 60 events including date and time, and can be matched to the infrared interface and data cable connection to the computer. Typical events such as on/off, gas and battery alarms, pattern errors, configuration changes, fresh air calibration and functional tests can all be downloaded, printed and stored.
