On January 14, 2021, Honeywell announced the release of electronic air purifiers (EACs) with UV (ultraviolet) systems and upgraded return air outlet electronic air purifiers to improve indoor air quality in commercial buildings and public places such as hospitals and schools. The launch of the new product will further expand Honeywell's overall healthy building product line. HoneywellUV electronic air purifiers use ultraviolet and electrostatic dust removal technology to remove impurities from the air, filtering and disinfecting without significantly obstructing air circulation.
