Honeywell and Jiutai Group Sign Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) - News

    Honeywell signed a memorandum of understanding with Jiutai Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jiutai") to further deepen cooperation and establish a strategic partnership. Honeywell provides process technology, equipment and smart factory systems for its Dalu Coal Chemical Base in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, helping Jiutai achieve digital transformation and innovation, and create an excellent new material smart enterprise.

    The memorandum includes:

• HoneywellUOP will continue to strengthen cooperation with Jiutai in the field of petrochemical technology, including the transformation of Jiutai methanol to olefins (MTO) and the addition of an olefin cracking process (OCP) unit to increase olefin production, further improving the profitability of the MTO plant.
• HoneywellUOP will also provide Jiutai with propane dehydrogenation and phenol acetone units.
• Honeywell's Process Control Department will further deepen its continuous cooperation with Jiutai in the field of digital transformation and smart factory business of petrochemical enterprises, and help Jiutai achieve the world's leading level of safe, reliable, intelligent and sustainable operation by providing the latest technology and excellent operation management experience of Honeywell's connected factory.

    Jiutai Group is a private enterprise based on coal chemical products, with a number of independent intellectual property rights, and is a high-tech enterprise. It is mainly engaged in the research and development and production of methanol, olefins, ethylene glycol, aromatics and other products, and has formed an annual production capacity of 1 million tons of methanol and 600,000 tons of olefins.
