Indonesia's national oil company PT Pertamina will utilize HoneywellUOP technology to produce biofuels at its two refineries.
PT Pertamina will be located in Palembang, South Sumatra. UOP's Ecofining technology is used at the Plaju refinery in Indonesia's capital of South Sumatra province, and UOP's Ecofining technology is used at the Cilacap refinery in central Java.
UOP will provide technical licensing, basic engineering, special equipment, catalysts and training for two items in Indonesia.
